My school history:
EIU: Bachelors in education
Governors state University: Masters in education and ESL certification
My work history: This is my seventh year at Tamayo. Before I came here I ran a daycare and taught preschool for two years. Then I substituted in CPS and for other charter schools. This is my third year coaching cheerleading.
A little about Liz: I love my family and try to spend as much time with my wonderful parents and brothers Mikie and Matt. I have three beautiful hilarious nephews and a sister-in-law named Elizabeth as well.
I have an adorable dog named Willa. She is sooooo spoiled and basically runs my life. She is a rescue pup and I hope to adopt more dogs in the future. I love to find new restaurants and places to go in the city and try to take advantage of what Chicago has to offer. I love music movies and spending time with my friends. I also play on an adult softball team and love to golf when ever I can.
What I value most: I value honesty and integrity. I know no one is perfect and we all make mistakes, I do every day! I try to be the best me I can be and reflect on each day in order to learn from my mistakes and move forward a better person. I value hard work and know that when I give my all to my students I get it back from them. We are a team and we will succeed together.
