I am excited to begin my third year of teaching at Rufino Tamayo.  I have always wanted to be a teacher. When I was in high school, I volunteered at a private school for diverse learners. During my teaching career, I have taught most grade levels at public and private schools in the city and south suburbs. I love teaching at Tamayo because it is a small school. The staff and students work together to create a wonderful community to learn and succeed.

My husband and I have raised three sons. We have one granddaughter whom we love to babysit and spoil! Spending time with my family (and golden retriever) are my most favorite things to do. I also love to travel, read, and walk for exercise.
